Fault Finding

What is fault finding?

Fault finding is self-explanatory, a fault such as tripping circuits or a blown fuse can occur at any time, leaving you without lights or power in your home or business. When an engineer arrives at your property, they will test the electrical line to determine the location of the fault. The trained engineer will repair the fault once it has been located within your property. If the fault requires an electrical part to be installed, which the engineer will need to collect or return another day, the engineer will isolate the fault within your electrics to ensure it does not escalate to a major issue.

Small faults within the home

Electrical faults can be minor and insignificant at times, but they have the potential to become dangerous. If you notice any small faults in your home, such as sockets or lighting, please contact a local electrician to inspect the problem. We would strongly advise having the fault checked out by a qualified electrician as soon as possible, as this prevents the fault from becoming dangerous and may work out cheaper in your favour.
